Cancelling your order pre-shipment:
Prior to dispatch you may cancel your order at any time without given reason unless the goods were being made to order or customised in any way. In this instance you may only cancel the order if work has not yet commenced.
To cancel your order pre-shipment, please contact the Motor Classic immediately by telephone. Cancellations by Email or post may take 2 working days process meaning your order could still be dispatched erroneously.
Name / Order Number / SKU –Part Number / ItemDescription / Qauntity returned/ Refund, repair or replace? / Reason for return.
Cancelling your order post-shipment:
You have 14 calendar days from the time of receiving the goods to return any products that were no longer required or ordered in error. In this instance your returned items should be in the same condition as delivered, undamaged and retain all original packaging.
The following items may not be returned unless incorrectly supplied or damaged in transit.
Items that were damaged in transit should be rejected on delivery, however if it is not noticed at this time then you must report the damage to the Motor Classic with accompanying photographic evidence within 14 days of receiving delivery. At this point the Motor Classic will take any reasonable actions to repair or replace damaged goods in a timely manner. Damages reported after 14 days cannot be entertained so we urge customers to check their order immediately after delivery.
We recommend tracked or recorded deliveries to ensure that returned items don’t go missing in transit. We’re unable to process returns if an un-tracked or standard
delivery doesn’t make it back to us.
Items belonging to you that the Motor Classic carried out a service or repair to. Should items of this nature become damaged in transit whilst being returned to you, they are insured for the full value of the services carried out by the Motor Classic. Further compensation cannot be offered for any remedial work or consequential losses that came as a result of being damaged in transit.
All products and retail services offered by the Motor Classic are covered under a 6 month warranty unless stated otherwise at the point of purchase. commencing from the date you received the items. This warranty will be null and void if there is evidence of incorrect use or fitment that may directly or indirectly have lead to the components failure. The Motor Classic reserves the right to review this policy without given reason, in this instance your statutory rights will not be affected.
If for any reason you are not in agreement with the above outlined policy, please return your order to the Motor Classic within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. If the items are not returned we will assume your acceptance of all policies outlined above.
WARRANTY
New products purchased from our store, by the seller Motor Classic, are covered by a manufacturer warranty. Other than applicable manufacturer warranties, or as otherwise provided in these Terms & Conditions, there are no warranties, express or implied for any of our products, and we specifically disclaim any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose for tires, aftermarket or refurbished wheels,steering wheels. Parts which are marked by us as “NOS” are sold as “New” but will not be covered by any warranty.
For other refurbished parts, we provide a limited warranty of 30 days from the date received by the original purchaser or installer, unless otherwise specified, which covers the replacement of a defective part(s). The warranty applies only to parts replacement with same or better quality.
Products damaged as a result of abuse, misuse, improper repairs or maintenance, improper installation, alteration, or modification will not be covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover airfreight charges, labor expenses, towing expenses, or rental car expenses resulting from installation errors. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. We will not reimburse any return shipping charges incurred.
All returned items must have the RA (Return Authorization) number written outside the shipping box prior to return. The RA Numbers can be obtained by creating a return from within your account. Returned items without RA numbers will not be accepted.
Our liability does not cover lost or stolen packages mailed back by the customer containing the parts being claimed under warranty. Because the customer is the shipper, he/she is the only one who can file any lost claim with the shipping company. Therefore, the claim must be coordinated and processed through the shipping company by the customer.
